High-functioning depression can look like having it all together on the outside — good grades, smiles, friends — while quietly fighting exhaustion, emptiness, or self-doubt inside.
Just because someone seems fine doesn’t mean they’re not struggling. Check in on your friends — and yourself — even when everything looks okay.
