Before you assume someone is mad at you, give yourself a minute.
A short text.
A different tone.
Someone being quieter than usual.
It’s easy for our brain to immediately go to, “What did I do?”
However, their mood might have absolutely nothing to do with you.
They could be tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or just having a rough day.
Don’t let your thoughts create a story before you know what’s going on.
Pause.
Get curious.
Ask instead of assuming.
Often, it really isn’t about you.
