As a teen, endings can feel like everything. A friendship changes. A relationship ends. You don’t make the team. A plan you were excited about doesn’t work out. And in that moment, it can be really hard to see past what you’re losing.
It is important to remember, not every ending is a bad thing.
Sometimes things end because you’re growing, changing, and making room for something you haven’t even discovered yet.
You don’t have to have the next chapter figured out. Just keep moving forward and trust that there’s more ahead.
Sometimes the thing that feels like an ending is really just making room for what’s next and it is often much better for you overall than what you had orginially hoped or planned for.
